Crowan parish register for christenings around 1740 is missing years and
badly damaged. A will proved at Crowan 1 May 1758 for a Mary TREWHELA,
widow, lists her son Thomas TREWHELA. It seems likely, but not certain,
that this Thomas would be the same person.Occupation at time of marriage was blacksmith; at time of will, farmer.

Burial: Ludgvan Parish Register, bur. (FHL #226,163); gives age as 59.NOTES: There was a John Edmonds (butcher) and wife Mary Tresize who
had children at Marazion, St Hilary during the time around William's
birth. The name patterns (Walter, Margaret, William, Henry, John and
Mary) of the other known children of this couple, as well as the similar
occupations (note that this William's son William was a butcher, as was
the Walter, son of John and Mary; he also moved to Ludgvan and had
children in the same time period as William.

marriage or certain birth date has yet been found.RESEARCH: Parents and birth date and place is from IGI records. Has not
been verified. There is also a chr. entry at Phillack for a "Richard, son of
Richard Rowe and Grace" 12 Jan 1777. Might the father's name have
been an error? Also, the only marriage listed in Boyd's Marriage Index for
Cornwall, between an Edward Rowe and a Grace was between Edward
Rowe and Grace Hawkey at Roche parish 03 Mar 1764. This couple,
however, had children at Roche at the same time as the children on this
chart, so that cannot be the marriage that produced these children
Moreover, Roche is not very close to Phillack. There was also an Edward
ROWE and Alice that had children christened at Phillack beginning in
1773, so (based on chr. date of #2 Grace) that could not be a second
marriage of this man.

yield a birth of 1698/9. This might be this Anne's mother?
